Preheat the oven to 325° F.
With a hand mixer, stand mixer, or whisk, cream butter (sub vegan butter for dairy-free) and brown sugar until well combined.
Add the egg (sub unsweetened applesauce for dairy-free), vanilla extract, and maple syrup and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, sea salt, cinnamon, clove, ginger, and nutmeg.
Sift in the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
Place 1 T sized spoonfuls about 1 inch apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake 14-16 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom.
