Pesto
A simple, inexpesive way to make an incredibly fresh, delicious pesto sauce.
- 3 cups basil leaves packed down tightly
- ¼ cup parmesan
- ⅔ cup olive oil
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup walnuts Or pine nuts. I just find walnuts to be more accessible but both as fine!
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ t salt
- ½ t pepper
