Chicken Udon
The best, most simple Asian udon you'll be able to make out of your own kitchen.

Chicken
- 1-2 chicken breasts based on how many people you're feeding. i can feed 2-4 with 1 package of noodles!
- salt, pepper, + sesame seeds for seasoning your chicken breast. this is based on the size of your chicken, so I can't put an exact measurement!
- 1 T canola oil
Sauce
- 4 T soy sauce
- 2 T vegetable or canola oil
- 2 T honey
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 T gochujang
- 1 T ginger paste
- ΒΌ t black pepper
- splash of lemon juice
Other
- veggies of your choice
- 1 package udon noodles
- 1 T canola oil
Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and sesame seeds on both sides.
Heat the canola oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add your chicken breast and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
Chicken Udon
Cook your udon noodles. If they are the pre-cooked ones (the ones I use don't need to be cooked) then skip this step.
Add the 1 T canola oil to a wok over medium heat.
Add your veggies and cook until they're charred.
Add your noodles to the wok and cook with the vegetables for 1 minute.
Add the sauce and combine it with the vegetables and noodles. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Plate it and add your chicken on top.
