Savory S’mores

What’s the only thing better than a s’more? A s’more when the gooey marshmallow gets replaced with a melty piece of brie. While I LOVE a good s’more, I love a savory moment just a little more. This could also be called the ‘charcuterie board cracker’ because I just put all of my favorite things on a charcuterie board, on a cracker. While this is my favorite way to eat these, totally feel free to experiment with what you like and replace the meats, cheeses, jams, etc. with what your tastes prefer!

Savory S’mores

Your favorite dessert turned appetizer. Melty brie, your favorite cold cuts…a charcuterie board in your hand.

Course Appetizer

Ingredients
  

  • Crackers
  • Cheese spread or jam
  • Log of brie cut into wheels
  • Proiscutto
  • Honey omit this if you don't want it too sweet!
  • Chives finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • Layer the crackers on a baking sheet.
  • Spread a layer of cheese spread or jam on top of the crackers.
  • Add a wheel of brie on top.
  • Bake for 2-3 minutes, or until the brie melts.
  • Top with a piece of proiscutto.
  • Drizzle a small bit of honey on top.
  • Sprinkle with chives.
  • Top with another cracker.

Notes

Everything is replaceable! Replace the cheese, meat, jams, toppings, etc. with whatever your favorite is!
