Ice Cream Croissants

This dessert doesn’t really need a recipe but it’s way too fun for me to not want to have this on my website. A while back while I was away, I went to an ice cream shop and their specialty was your ice cream of choice scooped onto a brioche hamburger bun and ironed on a panini press. At first, I was confused, but after 1 bite my life was changed. We all know that bread is good but I never believed that bread was good on everything until I tried that. From there on out, I’ve been combining my 2 favorite things when making dessert – pastries and ice cream.

I think the picture does this one justice. Pastries + ice cream = happiness. Need I say more?

Ingredients
  

  • 1 croissant
  • 2-3 scoops ice cream of your choice
  • toppings of your choice

Instructions
 

  • Cut your croissant down the middle, but not all of the way through, leaving it on a hinge.
  • Open it up and heat it either in the microwave, on a panini press, in a pan, in a toaster, etc. As long as it's warm and toasty, you'll be good!
  • Add your ice cream into the pocket of the croissant.
  • Top it with whatever you'd like.
  • Enjoy!
