BBQ Bacon Whiskey Chicken Kebab

This barbequed chicken kebab is low carb, sugar free, and ketogenic friendly!

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup sugar-free barbeque sauce
  • ¼ cup whiskey optional
  • 3 chicken breasts cubed
  • 2 t salt
  • 1 t pepper
  • ½ t garlic powder
  • ½ t onion powder
  • 3 T paprika
  • 3 T sugar-free brown sugar I use Truvia
  • 6 sliced bacon or turkey bacon

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor or blender, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, and bacon. Pulse until a smooth paste forms.
  • Combine the whiskey and sugar-free BBQ sauce. Set aside.
  • Coat the cubed chicken in the bacon paste. It's easiest to toss it together in a big bowl.
  • Place cubed chicken pieces on a skewer.
  • Cook your kebabs on a grill or in a pan until cooked through.
  • Brush the kebabs with the BBQ sauce mixture and grill for an additional minute
